For many years, the technology behind retail and commercial fueling remained largely unchanged. Reliability and cost efficiency were the driving force behind the use and re-use of a familiar, but small pool of dispensers, POS, fuel/site controllers, and alarm/monitoring systems.

So too was the commercial card landscape and the difficulty in finding the best solution not only for retail and commercial customers, but for retailers and jobbers as well. The challenge in maximizing profit while remaining competitive; establishing price points amidst cost plus and retail minus schedules while enduring increasing fees; and competing for the same customers with other jobbers.

In recent years, both regulations and technological developments have brought upon a new wave of products, platforms, and solutions that enable jobbers to provide their customers with better security, transparency, and fueling options.
